The journey to Triumph was very long and tiring, but we arrived with much to do and not rest to be seen until after the encampment had been set up. I was able to assist in putting the pavilion up and this was such an experience. I look forward to doing it again at Namron's Protectorate.

Everyone was given a job to do over the event and I was assigned the cooking for everyone. I loved it. I was able to provide for each member of our encampment and serve each person with a good nutritional meal. I look forward to many other events when I will be of such service to others.

I was able to enjoy the many stories, songs and ballads the bards of Ansteorra had to tell. Triumph had two bards that will represent them over the next year. The young Caer (one of my fellow campers) for the youth and Lady Biancha from Namron. It was very amusing to find that both of them won by telling stories about frogs. One would think it was a Beltane event!

I was not able to watch the fighting, either heavy or light. There was much to be done in the preparation of the meals. I was working with the group from Namron cooking upon the fire pit. I learned so much!

All in all, it was great fun, but much work. I was able to see many of my old friends and my husband arrived bringing me much joy. I look forward to the next event, Namron Protectorate.

At this time we have not yet moved to the beloved Province of Mooneschadowe, but we are in the process. I will be traveling there later today by carriage to visit with Lord Ivo and his lady Lady Lillias. I am so very excited to visit them for they have many ladies within their House Dogwood that I enjoy visiting.

Lady Liliana Byrnes and her daughter Caer are just the sweetest things. They have such an amazing and very unique relationship. I often wonder if it is signs of things to come in relationships.

There is the most unconventional young lady from Russia who also resides with Lord Ivo and Lady Lillias. She is what you would think a Russian to be, steady and of solid stock; much unlike Ladies you find at court, small and fluffy. She is not afraid to do men's work and fight as a man. It is all so intriguing. I so adore her.

Friday I will be traveling with House Dogwood to the Triumphe Festival and meeting my Lord husband. From what I understand it will be held within the boundaries of Northkeep. I pray we have a safe journey without any interruptions from highwaymen or the local constables.

There will be so much to do and see while I am attending Triumphe; Bardic, Torchlight Rapier competition, a live chess game, Art and Science competition, and so much more. The feast should be well made, there are so many fine cooks and servers within Mooneschadowe.

Yes, this will be a very well journey.
