Monday post "Daggers and Hemlock" Event was a GREAT success. Got some video footage, unfortunately my spanking new laptop with the 140 GB hard drive and 2GB ram didn't come with a firewire card, so I have to use the half as fast PC, but wait.. My monitor died, so have to get a new monitor before I can begin editting work on the video.  I did get a DVD created of the fighter practice from 8-17-07, nothing special, an assortment of Cody's (Gunnar) fights, and Brennon(Roses hubby) and then the bear pit, but for my first attempt at SCA videography and editting not terribly bad. Uploaded some to youtube that seem to have dissapeared. Considering I didn't use any music there shouldn't have been any copyright issues, don't know why.. will try and upload again.

One another personal, less sca note, blew the radiator hose that connects to the waterpump on my FWD pos. If it was a normal car the waterpump/thermostat hose would be up front and easy to find, but NOOOO this one is back and under a lot of shit. Going to have to try and get the car towed up the street to the mechanic, don't want to risk driving it a 1/4 mile with no water.
