I joined the SCA in December of 1979 in the Barony of Grey Niche. I returned home to Illinois and over the next 2 years helping to form and becoming one of the co-founders of the Shire of Iron Steed. I was the Deputy Seneschal, Herald and Chronicler (founding the Dread Defender newsletter)for several years. For my service at these posts I received an AoA.

I moved to Trimaris in January of AS XX to the Shire of Glymmerholde. I served in Glymmerholde as Seneschal, Marshal, Chronicler (founding the Glymmernote newsletter) and Provost. I also was the 8th Champion of Glymmerholde. I served Trimaris as Kingdom Chronicler (the first following Trimaris' elevation to kingdom status), Dean of Marshal Arts and Chancellor of the Trimarian Royal University. I was also squired to Earl Seosaidh Mac Seosaidh and Protege to the late Baroness Atalaya los Santadora. I am also Laird of the Pinewood Fen

I was recognized for this service with a GoA and became a Companion of the Argent Scales Trimaris and an Oro del Sol.

In August AS XLII, I will return to Meridies in the Bryn Madoc area
