Currently in the process of establishing a new SCA persona, a Dark Ages Celt from the Isle of Man, born in 359AD. Beyond that - still doing the research!
Outside of my persona, I'm an archer - combat & target - and enjoy fine needlework, leatherwork, gardening, herbalry/herbal medicine, cooking & shooting/throwing sharp pointy things. I have 3 little dogs - 2 War Wienies [1 male, one female] of the black & tan variety and one prissy little red double dapple girl. I'm married to an awesome mate and partner, his SCA name is Adakan McNiall [currently but he may change it...]. He's fairly new to the SCA, only been a member for 2.5 years now - almost as long as we've been married!
My job in the SCA -- well, let's see... Currently I'm the Chief Archer of the Shire of River's Bend, An Tir as well as the Central Region Archery Marshal. I'll soon be turning over my branch position [in June 2009] to my deputy Ayden Kincayde so I can concentrate on fulfilling my duties as a Regional Officer. After that -- who knows? The intent is to shoot on the warfield as long as possible while continuing with my target sports, to continue to train up combat archers for the Glory of An Tir and our Grand Sport. I am currently Arcarius to Master Andras Truemark, Order of the Laurel and an Arcos [member of the Order of the Grey Goose Shaft] of An Tir. Long has Master Andras been my friend and archery mentor.
