The Province of Mooneschadowe had an event called Mooneschadowe Guardian for 25 years. The event held many competitions: Chivalric, Rapier, Archery, Minstrels, Artisans, Chess, and Marksman. The children also had competitions and classes. This event is known for the feasts, always fantastic complete with music from the Merry Musicians from Mooneschadowe and other entertainment from ranking Bards and Jesters.
In in January 2006, the Shire of Mooneschadowe became a Province and the populace decided it would be a wonderful time to change the name of the Guardian event.
