Our interests are as broad as the expanse of the Mongol Empire, with particular emphasis on fighting, archery, equestrian, calligraphy, cooking, linguistics and orthography, sewing, performance, fine arts, brewing, martial arts and historical research.

The Lady Joane Glorie is a household built around an English galleon and its privateer crew. We sail primarily in the Northern Shores Region of the East Kingdom, staying closest to the Shire of the Isle of the Sleeping Dragon. We are devoted to late period and nautical research as well as plain piratical fun.


The Tadcaster Militia

The Tadcaster Militia is a school within the East Kingdom's League of Rapier Academies (also known as the "cording" system) functioning as an armed company in service to the Crown of the East. We stand ready to defend Her borders and Her honor from all attackers. 
The unit is captained by Don Ian of Tadcaster, Lord Raven, and comprises many fearsome and talented fencers from throughout England, Germany, the Low Countries and France. And Scotland. While our base of operations is in the Barony of Bhakail in the East Kingdom, we are "headquartered" on the ancestral lands of the Raven family of Tadcaster, in the North of England, near York. Which is nowhere near Vermont.
